Reference, not advice

The charts and guides are general reference compiled from published sources. They are not engineering, legal or code compliance advice for your installation, and they do not replace the electrical code adopted where you work, the manufacturer’s instructions and listing for the device, or the decision of the authority having jurisdiction.

Electrical work can kill. Work that these pages say belongs to a licensed electrician belongs to a licensed electrician.

Accuracy

We cite our sources and correct errors we learn of, but the site is provided as is, with no warranty that every figure is current or free of error. Check the source and the edition before you rely on a number. To the extent the law allows, Bellwether-Pacific LLC is not liable for loss or injury arising from use of the site.

Names and marks

Manufacturer names, product names and standards designations are used to identify sources and belong to their owners. No affiliation or endorsement is implied. NEMA configuration designations are referenced for identification.

Our material

The text, drawings and printable sheets are ours. Print them, post them on a shop wall and link to them freely. Do not republish them as your own or strip the name from a sheet.
